Labor Day Announcement

GWH Labor Day Family Conference to be held Friday through Sunday with more of a camp feel

By God’s grace Greenwood Hills will prayerfully open again for another event Friday through Sunday before Labor Day (9/4-9/6)!

Meetings & Speaker

We plan to meet together (as families) outside on the Inn lawn on Saturday and Sunday for each meeting/message.  Please dress casually (yes, even for Sunday morning).  We ask that you either bring blankets or outdoor chairs for your own seating.

Our speaker, Dan Weaver, will share from God’s Word on Friday evening, three times on Saturday, and once on Sunday, after the Lord’s Supper.  He is preparing interactive and engaging messages for all age groups for each meeting. There will be Bible quizzes, Sword drills, and prizes after each message for kids and adults!

We will provide a simple to-go breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, as well as Covid-friendly lunches at the GWH Pavilion and surrounding lawn.  Due to the limitations with Covid, those with food allergies are asked to make their own arrangements.  Guests will provide their own dinner on Saturday evening, following our afternoon activities, and prior to the evening meeting.

The Chatterbox will be open at designated times for limited window service and we encourage guests to grab a snack and enjoy fellowship outside.

Accommodations & Activities

You will be able to choose a number of different accommodations with private baths when you register.  This includes the Family Cabins, Camp Cabins, Retreat Center, and Motel.  (Please note that the Inn Lobby and Game Room, as well as the lower level of the Retreat Center will not be open during this event.) Only families or folks in “PODS” who are already living together (like roommates) can stay in accommodations together. Unfortunately this means that we can not allow the young adults to rent Camp Cabins this year.On Saturday afternoon, we will have a number of outdoor games and activities for all ages.

Though things will have to be different, it sure will be great to have Christian fellowship and hear God’s Word together!  Due to Covid restrictions, all those who plan to attend must register online, including those commuting locally, or attending for only some of the planned meetings/activities.

Guests are asked to follow state guidelines in place at the time of the event.  Please realize these guidelines may change, including limitations on who may attend.  Please inform yourself of potential risks as you decide whether to attend or not.  If it rains, we will have distanced seating in the Tabernacle.  Masks will be required when entering/exiting meeting and meal areas. Hand sanitizer will be provided and should be used when entering meeting and meal areas. If you are sick or know you have been exposed to those who are sick with COVID-19, we ask that you do not attend..

Looking forward to seeing you all and enjoying God’s Word together!  If you have any questions, please contact
